About the role:

As a Junior Sales Engineer, you will bridge the gap between engineering, sales, and administrative functions. You'll play a crucial role in generating leads, supporting project development, and building long-term relationships with clients. This role offers a blend of technical work and commercial development, providing an excellent foundation for a fast-track career in technical sales and business development.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales office tasks, including CRM updates, sales trackers, and quote registers.
  • Collaborate with engineers and sales teams on project bids, ensuring seamless proposal delivery.
  • Support the development of commercial strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships to generate repeat business.
  • Contribute to technical tasks like value stream mapping, cost modelling, and material/process recommendations for customer solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and engineering teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Engage in networking, marketing, and public speaking activities to raise Airborne's profile in the industry.

Job requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with composite materials, manufacturing processes, or automation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for technology and an interest in commercial and sales activities.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
