What is your new job?
Being a Project Manager means you are responsible for a successful execution of high-end technical projects, meaning: on time, within budget and according to clients specifications and expectations. Satisfaction of clients is an important part of the job. As a Project Manager you will lead a multi-disciplinary project team of engineers and technicians. Important parts of your function are: proactive client communication, team motivating, evaluating projects and implementation of improvements.

Our relations are international oriented, which means occasional travelling is involved in this position.


What are your responsibilities?


  • Realisation of projects from a signed contract to product delivery
  • Budget responsible for your projects
  • On time delivery (planning)
  • Quality planning and improvement
  • Customer satisfaction and customer relations
  • Internal reporting


Reporting Lines and Interactions

In this role you will report to the Managing Director of the business unit Airborne Composites Automation. You will work together with colleagues from the commercial department, procurement, engineering department and production.

Job requirements

Education

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automation/Aerospace)


Work experience

  • Minimum of 7 years’ work experience in engineering or a technical environment
  • A minimum of 5 years in (technical) project management
  • Experience in the field of Aerospace or Automotive is a plus


Other

  • Experience in maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Fluent in project management work flow and reporting
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Basic knowledge and interest in automation and/or composites
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
