What is your new job?


As Lead Buyer you are responsible for providing the company with the goods and services required from outside suppliers on time, on specifications and within budget.


What are your responsibilities? (performance areas)

  • Operational leadership of other Buyers.
  • Contribute to AA purchase strategy.
  • Draft, negotiate and close framework agreements with main suppliers.
  • Purchase critical goods & services.
  • Expedite running orders.
  • Contribute to supplier rating and management.

Reporting Lines and Interactions

You report to the Purchasing Manager and will work together with colleagues from Purchasing.

Job requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or business field. 

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years 'experience in aerospace or composites business of which a minimum of 5 years in a procurement role. 

Other requirements:

Software skills : Office applications (user level), ERP systems (user level).

Language skills: good skills in reading, writing, speaking English required, additional fluency in Dutch preferred.
