Airborne International (AI) is looking for an experienced CNC Milling Operator/Programmer. At AI we have a strong legacy in the design and manufacturing of composite parts for industries as space, aeronautics, marine/offshore and automotive. In our extensive production facilities in The Hague, we have everything it takes to manufacture high- end composite products, including 3 and 5-axis CNC milling machinery.

What will you be doing?
The CNC Milling Operator / Programmer is responsible for the entire milling process, from the delivery of a 3D model to the successful machining of the end product.

You are also responsible for creating, changing and managing CNC milling programs. In addition, the CNC Programmer is the expert in the field of milling and programming and helps colleagues to determine milling strategies.


The Milling Operator operates a 3 or 5-axis milling machine and works to produce highly accurate (composite) components for various applications.

Job requirements

  • Vocational education in a relevant subject.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with 3 and 5-axis milling.
  • Experience in using FANUC and/or Siemens operating systems.
  • 3 years of experience in CNC programming.
  • Experience with EdgeCam, Vericut and Mastercam.
  • Well-developed spatial awareness skills and strong knowledge of geometric measurement techniques.
  • Experience with machining of composite materials is a plus.
  • Our production department starts at 07:00, so you need to be an early riser.
  • You have a responsible attitude and not afraid to take ownership.
  • You work in a disciplined way with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • You have a good command of Dutch and English, both speaking and writing.
